King & Shaxson is now available to review in Analyser as part of your MPS due diligence.
King & Shaxson Asset Management has offered an ESG and impact focused portfolio management service through bespoke mandates since 2002, and through model portfolios since 2010. It has a total of £220m in MPS assets under management.
The company is owned by Singaporean financial services firm PhillipCapital, which employs over 3,000 people worldwide.
King & Shaxson’s model portfolios are built using both negative and positive screening. The negative screen includes traditional ‘sin stocks’ such as alcohol production, as well as areas such as fossil fuel extraction and nuclear energy production.
The positive screening process takes into account long-term themes such as access to healthcare, the move to electrification and sustainable agriculture.
Companies may also be included where they have “credible and sustainable plans” to transition away from King & Shaxson’s excluded activities, and where there’s evidence these plans are underway.
There are two ranges available:
– King & Shaxson Funds MPS
– King & Shaxson Direct Equity MPS
Advisers can access monthly factsheets and regular thought pieces via email or online. Face-to-face meetings are also available.
The portfolios are risk-rated by Defaqto, Dynamic Planner and EV.
